This
is Gil (Godzilla Ignacious Lizard) his friend Lars is in the bushes. On
Saturdays we go to the Olympia Fields farmers' market to hang out and visit
with the folks. Gil and Lars come too and sit in the sun. |
This
is Jojo holding Lars. Lars is not as outgoing as Gil. We would like to know
them better, but we are giving them a little space. They seem to be a little
leery of us. |
We
went with Gil and Lars to the blessing of the animals at St. John's Lutheran
Church in Country Club Hills. Those iguanas sure like the sun and Jojo! |
Jojo
is giving Lars a kiss. Ilene says that's just the way people are. If they
like you, they kiss you! It's OK with us! |
We
had fun New Year's Eve, 2005. Here we are with Debbie Christian. She's our
friend. She is holding her dog Scrappy and that other dog is her granddog,
Kahli. |
January
25, 2006 What an exciting day! We made another new friend. His name is
Radar. He came to our house with Susan and Bea. We did a little talking and
tail wagging and butt sniffing. It was really cool. We love making new
friends! |
This
is Zeke and his friend Ed. He lives on Amelia Island with Kathryn and Ed
Dews. We had a nice visit in 2005. |
This
is Sophie. She lives in South Carolina with Susie and Mike Balthazor. We
visited them in 2005. |
Here
is Zeke again. |
This
is Zeke when he was a baby! |
This
is a picture taken in our new house in Illinois. The lady is our friend
Debbie. With her are two new friends. The white guy is her dog Scrappy. She
is taking care of her granddog Kahli. They came to our house for dinner and
we all had a real good time. Debbie's husband, Terry, was here too. We went
to their house for dinner. It's good to make new friends.
We are sitting on our new loveseat and ottoman. We love them! There is
lots of room. Ilene and Bob are still fixing the house, but you can come and
visit any time. We have lots of room! (And beds too. It's not just room on
the loveseat and ottoman.) |
This
is our friend Freckles. Can you see the freckles on his nose? He lives a few
doors down from us and we visit him almost every day. |
He
enjoys our visits. Maggie chases him around and barks at him to prove she is
the boss. He says that's OK with him. |
Then
we do a lot of sniffing and tail wagging. |
It's
good to have friends and visit! |
Here
are Bubba Jr. and Crystal. They take care of our Dr. Lori and her husband in
Indianapolis. They look pretty cool for Halloween! |
This is a picture of Marsha with Chase (black) and Lucky (golden). We went
to visit the Cribbs and Marsha is the grandma for the kids who live next
door. Lucky is her dog and Chase lives there.
|
|
This
is Maggie visiting with Lucky through the fence. They are friendly
dogs, but they sure are BIG! |
Here
I am visiting with Chase through the fence! That is Maddie's hand on
Chase's back. She is one of three nice girls who live next door to
Chris and Jack. |

This
was a fun day! We met another new friend! His name is Kai and he is a
miniature pinscher. The picture on the left shows us with Kai and our
neighbor, Kenny. Kai belongs to Kenny's grandson, Spencer. He is just
visiting. Isn't he a handsome fellow? |
Our cousin, Goldie Too, visited us! Here we are together when we went out for ice cream.
Yum!!! |
Here
is a friend we haven't even met! His name is Barney and he takes care
of Connie and Matt Strittmatter. He looks like a lot of fun. We hope
to meet him some day. |
Here
are two good buddies! You probably kn ow Spike on the right. He
takes care of the Bohlanders, our neighbors. The other handsome fellow
on the left is Skipper, who was another neighbor. He went over the
Rainbow Bridge, but he took very good care of Lee and Jack Copeland before
he passed. He was a fine fellow and we all miss him! |
This
is Rocky and his person, Trent. Sometimes we see him if we go with Ilene
when she gets groomed. She gets groomed in the back of this nice store
called Roses and Rainbows. If you want to see the store, go to
www.rosesandrainbows.com |
This
is Buddy. He lives across the street from our office. He moves really
fast and is a real junkyard dog. We are just getting to know him. |
This
our new friend Travis. He takes care of Helen and Bill Arvin.
They live across the street from us with Travis. |
Th is
is a picture of Spike and me. Maggie says it is a little blurry, but that's
because we are moving really fast playing around. |
And
this is Maggie with Spike. We walk to Spike's house almost every day.
He lives just one lot away and across the street. He takes care of the
Bohlander family. |
This
is Bert, Mike Weil's dog. We were just moving into the office in
Indiana. We were both kind of nervous about the changes.

Here
I am trying to play with Trapper at the DeNapoli's house. Bob is
trying to help; however, Trapper didn't want anything to do with me! There
were seven cats living in that house and I thought they were really
interesting, but none of them wanted anything to do with me! |
This
lovely dog is Amber. She lived in Farmington Hills, MI with the Sempergers,
Rosalind, Bill, Allison and Janine. I think she was my cousin, but I'm
not really sure. Amber passed over he Rainbow Bridge in the summer of 2003. |
This
is Cissy, Rowena Ammerman's small shih tzu. She lived near us when we
were in the apartment in Cambridge City. She had a lot of energy and
one day she ran right over me! |
These
are Bob's legs. I was visiting a young corgi named Tillie at Dave and Mary
Jane Tiedgen's house. We were invited for dinner and Tillie decided
she needed to herd me around. I wasn't sure I liked that idea.
We learned to get along better! |
On
our trip out west in 1995, we stayed at a motel in New Mexico where some BIG
dogs lived. I liked to be there, but those dogs were really BIG!
They were all very friendly and I enjoyed visiting with them. |
This
is a picture of Ilene and I with Schatze, Gerry Waite's dog. She was a
very sweet girl. She went over the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago. |
This
is a picture of me with Goldie Too. After Schatze went over the
Rainbow Bridge, Gerry got Goldie Too. Gerry is Bob's sister and their mother
is Grandma Goldie. Goldie Too is a good friend to Grandma Goldie.

Ilene and I attended an animal communication workshop put on by Kate Bast in
October of 1998. This is a picture of me and Bijou. Since then,
Bijou had a leg removed because of cancer and I had an eye removed because
of glaucoma. You are seeing us from our most interesting angle, as far
as I'm concerned. |
This
is another picture from the animal communication workshop. I was a
little shy at first because I was going blind and the other dogs were mostly
very BIG. Bijou (see left) was nearer my size and helped me get into
the spirit of things. The guy in the blue shirt is signing because one of
the people was deaf. It was an interesting experience. |
This
is a picture of us with Ilene and Hootie, a dog who lived near our nephews
when they were in Jasper. Hootie came to visit them when we weren't
around, too. He's a fun dog! |
This
lovely bird is the Tottenhoff's parrot Mumbles. We didn't have much
time to get acquainted. Mumbles went over the Rainbow Bridge. |
